Walk for Walk
Films by Amy Lockhart (In Person) and Friends
Join us for the world premiere of Amy Lockhart’s new animation, Walk for Walk. Tonight’s screening, held in conjunction with the Toronto Comic Arts Festival, will showcase Lockhart's newest work alongside her classic animations and her infamous Miss Edmonton Teenburger 1983 collaboration videos. Lockhart's animations and videos are a dystopic world unto themselves: hamburger-eating heads that explode, Superman in a wheelchair, a giant baby named Jean Benet, a comic assault on hockey, and party guests who stuff their faces until the inevitable occurs.

Pleasure Dome is a year-round film and video exhibition group dedicated to the presentation of experimental film and video. The 2005/2006 Programming Collective is: Scott Berry, Daniel Cockburn, Jon Davies, Claire Eckert, Firoza Elavia, Linda Feesey, Graham Hollings, Jean-Paul Kelly, Chris Kennedy, Jacob Korczynski, Ben Portis and Michèle Stanley. Tom Taylor is the Program Coordinator. Pleasure Dome acknowledges the support of our members, the Canada Council for the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council, and the City of Toronto through the Toronto Arts Council.

programming for prior approval by any censoring bodies.
